I began my career working with animals in 1990 for a New York State Humane Society. I started as a kennel worker and left as the Assistant Director. I knew then that I always wanted to work with animals.
Since then I have worked for boarding kennels, pet cemeteries and veterinary hospitals in New York and Massachusetts. I truly enjoy working with pets and their owners. I have worked with many abandoned, neglected and abused pets. Shelter pets will always have a special place in my heart. I strongly promote spay and neuter and pet adoption thru humane and rescue organizations.
Having family out of state forced me to search for responsible pet sitters for my animals and home. I personally understand the importance of having sitters in your home that you trust. The peace of mind that comes from knowing that my pets and home are being taken care of was and still is PRICELESS!
My love of Cape Cod is equal to my love for animals. It was through all of this that Lighthouse Pet Sitting of Cape Cod was born.
